This customer came to us as they were moving the kitchen from the front of the house to the old lounge at the rear of the house to incorporate the new extension at the rear of the property.
In this kitchen, we have packed plenty of practical storage into a simple U shaped design.
We have a set of white pan drawers, to help the customer usefully store plates, bowls, saucepans and cooking apparatus in a safe and practical way. Not 1, but 2 Kessebohmer spice pull outs either side of the range. 2 Kessebohmer corner Leman storage solutions to make use of dead space. An integrated Vauth-Sagle bin stored next to the sink.
Appliances include, a stunning range and hood, integrated fridge freezer, and an integrated dishwasher, all supplied by the customer.
The floor, also supplied by the customer, is an engineered oak which ran though the whole ground floor.

Our kitchen worktops were 24 years old and showing great signs of wear and so we approached Riley James about replacing them. We were delighted when they said that would be no problem and assisted us in selecting a suitable replacement. The completed job was superb and their fitter Shaun was efficient and carried out a really first class job. We then decided to replace the flooring as well and this has just been carried out to the same high standard. We are so pleased to have discovered such a professional company as Riley James - and local too!

Huge thanks to Justin for designing and supplying our new kitchen. I can’t say it was all plane sailing at installation stage as we did have a number of huge challenges and delays with our installation. However, the IMPORTANT bit is how Justin and his team (including the follow up from Vicki) responded, putting things right, providing alternative installers and additional materials ensuring the final outcome was first class. So often its about trust and confidence and we have that in Justin. Thank you.

The brief was to replace a tired 30 year-old kitchen with new units, worktop, sink, tap, appliances and wall surface. Matt, the designer I worked with, was very easy and pleasant to communicate with; responding promptly with good ideas, alternatives and solutions. Never pushy, always considerate. He was also very patient. We met face to face a number of times and nothing was too much trouble. Their kitchen installer (Joe Brown) was meticulous and tidy and very able. Easy to communicate with as well. The finished look is simple and elegant using a limited colour palette of pale grey and light aquamarine and a marble-look work surface. I am pleased with the CDA 13-function oven and Hotpoint dishwasher. The CDA gas hob reflects the inexpensive cost and I may well replace it with something a bit more heavy duty in due course. The composite sink is a great shape - quite deep - but is not what I would call easy to clean but it scrubs up well. with a bit of effort! One or two items were not quite right but Riley James replaced them immediately and with no quibbles and at no extra cost. What could have been a stressful experience was actually pleasant and fun. A great team. So, thank you everyone at Riley James.
